“Daniel, if you face the obelisk, with the bridge behind it, it will be to the right of the obelisk. Does that make sense?”
Sure does. It sounds like the plaque is on the eastern side of the obelisk (the side that’s closest to the Tuileries). Anyway, I’m sure I’ll find it. That’s holy ground for a French Revolution nut like me.
Yep, Pauline, you nailed it. Except Shannon’s shoes are lime green – Shannon has a lot of green in her wardrobe 😀
Doru – trust me, there’s been plenty of wine in our days. I think by Wednesday, I’ll be ready for a beer. Leg shots – that would be funny – hmm. Have a great trip!
This is a bit exasperating: we wanted legs, not shoes! Anyway, at least the shoes are clean.
Where are the bottles of wine? You know, in France you don’t have to hide them in brown bags the way I know you do at home!
Anyway, it don’t matter ’cause tomorrow we’re off to Rome!
Have an ongoing great time and leave some croissants around.
With hugs, from Doru
I love the new header photo!! And the photo on this post. Kim’s feet at the bottom – sensible black walking shoes? Colleen to the right – somewhat fashionable but still sensible black walking shoes? Shannon to the left – bright yellow sneakers? Did I guess right?
Steve read the French and says yes you are right – this is where she “bit it”. 🙂
Daniel, if you face the obelisk, with the bridge behind it, it will be to the right of the obelisk. Does that make sense? Check it out when you’re here next month.
Kim, where on Place de la Concorde is this plaque located? I can’t believe I’ve never seen it. Very cool.
