From our recent Italy trip, a street performer. Obviously, not really metal but he so reminded me of the bronze sculpture done by George Segal that is part of the FDR memorial, the Bread Line, I couldn’t help but snap a picture or two.

I have never seen one of these in person, just on tv. Looks cool!
Sandi, but of course we “paid” him. I wouldn’t feel right taking the picture if I didn’t shtoop him a little.
JylnC, they’re all over Rome and lately I’ve seen them in certain areas of the city. We saw one in London too but not so much a sculpture; I’ll have to look to see if I have that picture – it was very clever.
Great take on this week’s theme!! I love the photos 🙂 It really does look like a metal sculpture.
What a great shot for this week’s theme!
Fantastic photo. I’ve never heard of the sculpture performers before.
If you have time stop by my metal photos.

At first glance, it does all appear metal! Neat!

Those are great shots. Such an interesting choice.
We have a couple of these performers in Toronto.
I played too 🙂
Great photos! Those street “sculpture” performers are very cool, I’ve seen them in Venice too. This one really does look like a metal statue.
Hope you’re having a nice holiday weekend!
Oh this is wonderful! I’ve seen the FDR work…it’s fantastic too.
Reminds me of the Tin Man in Wizard of Oz.
