Finally finished Most Talkative by Andy Cohen last night. If you don’t know who Andy Cohen is (VP of programming and new development at Bravo, though I must wonder, what is wrong with you?), them you probably shouldn’t read this book, which is a memoir of his early days in the television industry (with some side trips into his childhood) all the way through now.
If you “know” Andy, watch Watch What Happens Live, or have any bit of an fascination with Susan Lucci or The Real Housewives franchises, read the book! While the first half dragged a bit for me (childhood and college stories), because I was anxiously awaiting more current stuff, the second half moved quickly and I was sorry when it ended. It is filled with interesting tidbits about many stars and Bravolebrities (if you don’t know that word, again, what’s wrong with you?) but in the end, what I enjoyed most, was how Andy opened up about how he felt during different points in his career, including his successes and faus paxs. Made me realize that even though, he’s pretty darn famous, he has the same worries, concerns and insecurities many of us have.
