Okay – so this is getting ridiculous. Every day now it seems I’m on the SlowTalk Message Board and see something else I think I need to remember for our Paris trip. Something that piques my curiosity, a site I want to see, a book I need to read, a restaurant I want to try. I’m kidding myself if I think I’m going to remember, so instead, I’m going to keep track of them here. Paris – subcategory – Things to Investigate.
So first thing found in this discussion is “the Abbey of St Denis with all its sarcophagi of French kings and queens and its wonderful stained glass windows.”
Thanks Kay – very sweet of you to say. I was a bit intimidated by using it at first but it really was easy and oh so convenient. That said, I also think Paris is a great walking city – so don’t miss out on that fun either.
Enjoy.
Oh and for anyone wondering, I’ve included the link to the Paris metro piece – just click on the kimmer99.
Just want to thank you for the posting regarding using the Paris subway system. It makes much more sense to me than any other sources and almost convinces me that I can use the subway on my visit to Paris the first week in June.
